About

THE FANLISTINGS
A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans.

GREGORY PECK

Born Eldred Gregory Peck, he was born in 1916 in California. Gergory first went to study pre-med at Berkley, but than changed his mind and focused on acting. Stage roles turned into film roles, where he had a strong screen prescence and became known as the tall, rugged hero. Earlier films include "Spellbound" (1945) and "The Yearling" (1946), as well as some Westerns. In 1953 he co-starred with Audrey Hepburn in "Roman Holiday" (insisting that she be billed before the credits with him). It was finally in 1962 that he won his first Academy award for his role as Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird." He went on to make many more movies, his last being a TV version of "Moby Dick" (1998). Always politically liberal, Peck was active in causes dealing with charities, politics or the film industry. He died in June 2003, aged 87.
